The NSS seven day special camp began
on 03.08.2024 with an Orientation Program for all the participating volunteers.
The main objective of this program was to inform the students about the rules
of the college facilities available in the college.
A rally was on every home Tricolor
Program taken out on 12.08.2024 in which 85 NSS volunteers participated. The
main objective was to awaken the feeling of respect for the National Flag and
patriotism among the students. Independence Day was celebrated on 15.08.2024 to
tell about the importance of freedom and the freedom movement of India. An
awareness rally on long live for those who demand freedom on 17.08.2024 was
organized in which 79 NSS volunteers took part. The main objective of this
rally was to spread the meaning of freedom and traffic rules to the society. An
extension lecture was organized on 04.09.2024 to raise awareness among students
about various d     their effects and
ways to prevent drug misuse and abuse. The lecture was delivered by an expert
Dr. Ashok Verma, Deptt. Of Narcotics.
An extension lecture on the topic
Ozone Layer was organized on 13.09.2024. The session aimed to spread awareness
about the importance of the Ozone Layer and the urgent need to protect it from
depletion. The lecture was conducted by two environmental experts Mr. Suraj
Indora and Mr. Deepak Saini. A tree plantation drive was conducted on
16.09.2024 with the objective of promoting environmental awareness and
contributor to a greener and healthier planet. On the occasion of National
Deworming Day a special awareness session was conducted on 18.09.2024. The aim
of this program was to educate students about intestinal warms, their harmful
effects and the importance of deworming for a healthy life.
The foundation day of NSS was
celebrated on 24.09.2024 with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The event
was organized by the NSS unit to honor the values. A one day NSS camp was
conducted on 19.10.2024 with great learning experience for all participants.
The aim of the camp was to promote national service, social responsibility
cleanliness and personality development.
Blood Donation camp was organized on
22.10.2024 in collaboration with the Blood Bank team of LNJP Hospital and Dr.
Ashok Verma. The camp was held under the supervision of the NSS unit and aimed
at promoting voluntary blood donation among students and staff. Total 43 unit
Blood was collected. The second day of the ongoing NSS special camp was
organized on 08.01.2025. The highlight of the day Balveer Diwas was an
inspiring and informative lecture on delivered by Prof. Jagmohan Singh.
National Voters’ Day was celebrated on 25.01.2025 with great enthusiasm and a
sense of civic duty. The event aimed to create awareness among students
especially those below 18 years.
The third day of the NSS camp was held
on 15.02.2025. The day’s focus was on intellectual development through a
special lecture on knowledge and its type by Prof. Alka. Â The closing ceremony of seven days NSS camp
was organized in the Seminar Hall under the guidance of the NSS program officer
Prof. Amit. The ceremony marked the successful completion of the camp. The
ceremony was graced by Prof. Sushil Kumar who presided as the Chief Guest. One
of the key moments of the ceremony was the distribution of certificate to all
active participating volunteers.
